A phishing attack on ioBanker coming from Google

CEO of ioBanker OÜ Ammar Yousef had reported today that ioBanker’s team had witnessed a weird situation on Google.com; “ioBanker.com” the corporate main website was replaced by another domain name on Google.com; with the same exact titles! it appears as if it’s a phishing attack coming from Google!

Ammar had added that “this could be due to a misbehavior affecting Google’s crawling robots, robots could be mixing up between different websites due to a bug or a type of an attack or hacking activities that could be able to change the Google search engine database, we’d reported to Google’s by creating them a legal request [5-8976000030981] and reported the incident through Google’s search feedback function and also opened the thread https://support.google.com/webmasters/thread/101425928?hl=en at Google’s community”.

Ammar had added also “We do apologize to the platform’s users regarding these out of hands circumstances and we recommend our users to go directly to ioBanker.com domain instead of using Google’s results.”
